An engraved anti-slavery halfpenny. The obverse bears a portrait of the Princess of Wales, with the legend: 'PRINCESS OF WALES'. The reverse has an image of clasped hands and the legend: 'MAY SLAVERY & OPPRESSION CEASE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD'.
