Artillery carbine, virtually fully stocked to muzzle. The stock is secured to the barrel by two steel bands. Martini action. The barrel is steel with leaf rearsight and blade foresight. The calibre is 0.303in. It is stampted '12 1893 V' [Volunteer] '2DVN' [Devon] 'A' [Artillery] '420'.
