Notebook of James Furnell with details of rigging on East Indiamen and medical mixtures, circa 1850.

Small notebook listing dimensions of masts and spars of the AGINCOURT (1841) and the running gear of the SERINGAPATAM (1837). Some sail plans are included. The notebook also has details of mixtures to be used in the treatment of medical conditions, and the waterproofing of boots.
