The cargo liner City of Liverpool (1949) with other ships in the Royal Albert Dock, London

A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the cargo liner City of Liverpool (1949) alongside a berth in the Royal Albert Dock, London. She has two rope ladders deployed over the side and a large number of lighters are alongside her and in the foreground. Berthed astern of her the forepart of the cargo liner Maidan (1946) can be seen and on the right is the bow of the cargo liner Rhodesia Castle (1943), both seen from off their port bows.
