A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the cargo liner Melbourne Star (1948) alongside Berth 20 on the south side of the Royal Albert Dock, London. Alongside her after holds is the coaster Orwell (1956), which is seen from off her starboard side well ahead of the beam. Alongside the forward holds is the coaster Waveney (1956), also seen from well ahead of her starboard beam. The hatches of the Waveney (1956) are tented and she has lighters outboard and ahead of her, one of which contains packing cases with Ford stencilled on them.
