The passenger liner Queen Mary (1936) and tankers Inveritchen (1920), Esso Lyndhurst (1958) and Esso Poole (1955) in the Ocean Dock, Southampton, Hampshire.
A port side view of the passenger liner Queen Mary (1936) berthed alongside the Ocean Terminal in the Ocean Dock, Southampton, taken from abaft the beam. Everything aft of her third funnel is out of the picture. The bunkering tanker Inveritchen (1920) and the coastal tanker Esso Lyndhurst (1958) , both seen from fine off the starboard bow, are alongside the forward boiler rooms of the liner. The coastal tanker Esso Poole (1955), seen from wide off the bow, is alongside the after boiler room of the liner. They are providing the great ship with her life blood.
