The cargo liner City of Chicago (1950) in the Royal Albert Dock, London

A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the cargo liner City of Chicago (1950) alongside a berth in the Royal Albert Dock, London. She has four rope ladders deployed over the side and a large number of lighters are berthed outboard. Astern of her can be seen the bow of the passenger/cargo liner City of Durban (1954) and on the left is the stern of a Port Line cargo liner. Beyond the lighter in the foreground is the tug Brent (1945), seen from abaft her port beam.
