A port quarter view, taken across the quay fine off the stern, of the cargo liner Melampus (1960) berthed alongside a quay in the Royal Albert Dock, London. She is working cargo using dockside cranes and her own derricks. A large log is being lowered by her derrick into a lighter berthed between the ship and the quay. Her stern is not in the picture. There is a small stack of dunnage on the quay.
