Chair

Chair made from the wood of HMS 'Victory'. An oak armchair, the arms terminating in guns, reeded front legs and five back splats. the central panel on the back carved with an anchor. The top surmounted by a crown on a cushion. Wide seat with treenail holes and several wooden patches. Circular copper plaque on back with the inscription: 'Manufactured from oak & copper from Nelson's flagship "Victory"'.
