The American freighter 'Letitia Lykes' (1947) in the Surrey Commercial Docks in July 1962. She was built by the Moore Dry Dock Company for the Lykes Lines, founded in 1899 to transport cattle from the United States to Cuba. The Lykes Lines expanded to become a major international shipping company, and were taken over by Canadian Pacific Ltd in 1997.
