The general cargo ship Bencomo (1950) in the West India Docks, London.

A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the general cargo ship Bencomo (1950) alongside a berth in the West India Docks, London. The figurehead of the ship is a standing Greco-Roman man wearing a cape and a Phrygian cap. The port bow of the tug Sun XVIII (1951) can be seen berthed outboard of the Bencomo (1950) and on the opposite side of the dock, seen from wide off her port bow is the Yugoslav cargo ship Zadar (1950). Her number one hatch is tented, she has lighters berthed outboard and the word Jugolinija is painted on her hull amidships.
