The passenger/cargo liner Strathnaver (1931) and the auxiliary spritsail barge Oxygen (1895) in the Main Dock, Tilbury, Essex
A port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo linerStrathnaver (1931) alongside Berth 32 in the Main Dock at Tilbury. A working cradle is suspended from her boat deck amidships. Her hull is badly obscured by a number of lighters in the foreground and by the auxiliary spritsail barge Oxygen (1895) which is seen from off her port bow. She has a stumpy spritsail rig and a wheelhouse in place of her mizzen mast.
