The general ship Abagurles (1962) in Greenland Dock, Surrey Docks, London

A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the general cargo ship Abagurles (1962) berthed off the quayside in the Greenland Dock, Surrey Docks, London. She has her port anchor down and is working cargo into lighters alongside using her own gear. She has two rope ladders deployed over the side and she has oil drums slung from her derricks. Her deck cargo of timber has been partially unloaded but her cargo restraining beams are still in position. A dockside capstan dominates the foreground.
