The cargo liner Mampong (1948) in the Northwest Dry Dock at Tilbury, Essex
A starboard bow view, taken from the top of the dock fine off the bow, of the cargo liner Mampong (1948) dried out in the Northwest Dry Dock at Tilbury. Her anchors and chains have been removed. There are trestle scaffolds on the floor of the dock and the ship is supported by timber shores. A man is working on the port bow from a platform suspended over the bow. The Swedish passenger/cargo ferry Saga (1966) is alongside 26 Berth on the right.
