Lambeth Reach, River Thames, and the Houses of Parliament, London.
A general view of the north end of the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Bridge, London, from the Albert Embankment. The tug Sauria (1937), seen from just forward of her port beam, is towing a string of laden lighters in the middle of Lambeth Reach heading upstream. Her funnel is lowered after shooting Westminster Bridge. Also heading upstream beyond the Sauria (1937), and also seen from just forward of her port beam, is the laden coastal tanker Shell Spirit 2 (1939). An unidentified cabin cruiser is at anchor in the foreground.
