A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the Belgian general cargo ship Anvers (1961) being towed stern first into the South Dock Lock, West India Docks, by the tug Muria (1932), which is seen bow on. The Anvers (1961) was bound out for Port Arthur, Texas. On the right is the former P & O liner Corfu (1931), renamed Corfu Maru (1931) for her voyage to Japan for demolition. She is seen from off her port quarter. A colour transparency.
