Enamelled gold-coloured metal tie fastener. The tie fastener has a blue background, which is decorated with a skull and crossbones emblem along with Whitbread's trademark. The tie fastener is contained within a black plastic box with a transparent plastic lid. Part of a large collection of shipping company and advertising material donated by Mr Victor Brooks, a purser with the New Zealand Shipping Company and Port Line.
