Geological specimen
One of six geological specimens brought back from the Franklin Search expedition led by Captain Horatio Austin by Richard Vesey Hamilton (1829-1912) who was mate of 'Assistance'. The specimen has a paper label: 'My farthest Lat 76.16 N long 105.70 North of Melville Island RDA.'
