Bar shot used at the battle of Vigo Bay, 12 October 1702. Admiral Rooke and the Dutch Vice Admiral Callenburgh engaged the French and Spanish fleet at Vigo Bay - all the French warships and Spanish treasure ships were either taken or destroyed.
