Patch box

Patch box with a clasp and belt attachment found inside it. A brass box to hold firearm accessories such as flints, patches or cartridges. A cartouche-shaped box with a rosette in the form of an eight pointed star in the centre. Around the edges is wavy banding and intemittant cross hatching. The lid is hinged and there is a brass slot for a belt on the back.
