A German shell fragment found on board the battleship HMS Warspite (1913) after the battle of Jutland.
Fragment of shell mounted on a wooden base. The battleship HMS Warspite (1913) was hit by 15 German heavy shells during the battle of Jutland, 13 of them during the short period that she steamed in circles while her steering was jammed.
