A Flanders noble
A Flanders noble. Obverse: The count standing (front) in a ship, holding sword and shield. Reverse: Within a tressure of eight arches having a trefoil in each spandril, a floriated cross with lis at end of each limb, and a rose within an ornamented compartment in the centre; in each angle of cross, a lion passant guardant with crown above.
