Medal commemorating Admiral Fedor Matreevich Apraxin (1671-1728). Obverse: Bust of Admiral Apraxin in a long wig and armour, draped. Legend in Russian. (His Imperial Majesty's Admiral, Feodor Matveyevitch Apraxin). Reverse: A fleet, one large vessel in foreground, approaching the land where troops are offering resistance; above two hands, issuing from clouds, holding a wreath. Legend in Russian (He that keeps this sleeps not. Better death than infidelity). Exergue: '1708.'
