Exergue: 'FRIDERIC . III . D . G . REX . DAN . NOR . VAN . GOT .' (Frederick IV, by the grace of God, King of Denmark, Norway, the Wends and Goths.) Reverse: View of Marstrand and castle above, a rocky peninsula, ships below in middle distance. Legend: 'GVDS NAADERIGE HAAND . SOM GIVER SEYR OG AERE . HAR MARSTRAND BRAGT DERTIL DEND DANSKE FLAG AT BAERE.' (God's merciful hand which bestows victory and glory has caused Marstrand to fly the Danish flag.) Exergue: '1719 D . 25 . IULY.'
