Counter commemorating Minister Jeane Baptiste Colbert (1619-1683). Obverse: Bust of the minister Colbert in a long wig, robe and embroidered collar (right). Legend: 'I . BAPTISTE COLBERT.' Reverse: Two cherubs, one (left) holding a skull, the other (right) blowing a trumpet held in his right hand and holding a palm leaf in his left, seated on a tomb decorated with a wreath. Inscription (on tomb): 'MINISTRE DETAT . M . 1683.'
