Hans Elberg and family
A group photograph believed to be of Hans Elberg, Assistant [Lieutenant Governor] at Holsteinborg 1850-54, and later Governor 1854-73, with his wife Martha and three children. Their clothes represent a fusion between Inuit and Nordic clothing. The Phoenix visited Holsteinborg between 8 and 17 June 1854.
