The upper garment of the woman on the right may be knitted wool (like the ones worn by the Danish official and his sons in G4263) and may represent a fusion between Inuit and Nordic clothing. The Inglefield Album held by the Royal Archives records noted that the people in the photograph are (l-r) Mother, Daughter, Fiance, and Sister-in-Law.
