Medal commemorating the Trafalgar Centenary, 1905. Obverse: Britannia, a spear in her left hand and a shield below, standing on the deck of an antique galley, her right foot resting on a helmet, crowned with a wreath by a winged Victory. Reverse: An oak and laurel wreath. Legend: 'HORATIO NELSON ESQUIRE. THE SPANISH FLEET DEFEATED'. Inscription: 'COMMODORE AND FIFTH IN COMMMAND ON THE 14TH FEB. MDCCXCVII'. Inscribed on edge: 'THE CENTENARY OF THE BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR 1905'. Fitted with a ring. Glazed.
