The Wightman Lunaglobe

Lunar globe in relief. The 12-inch plastic globe comes with a two-part plastic stand, its original cardboard box and instruction leaflet. This is a coloured sample, presumably for shop or other display purposes. The instruction leaflet shows that the standard model was a plain globe supplied with colouring instructions and transfers for the names of the features. A key on the side of the box indicated where the various names should be placed.
The globe was produced after the Apollo landings, the box carrying the words "Be up to date with the APOLLO adventures".
