Legend and inscription: 'PRELIMINARIES OF PEACE BETWEEN GREAT BRITAIN AND FRANCE SIGNED OCTOBER 1ST. 1801'. Reverse: Within a wreathed edge a spilled cornucopia, a barrel (right), the dove of peace above; two ships under sail in distance (left and centre), one at anchor (right).
