Reverse: Field divided by a ribbon; above bird's-eye view of the Dutch and Spanish fleets in action in the bay of Gibraltar; land on three sides; below, the coats of arms of the Netherlands (left), of the admiral (centre) and Amsterdam (right) entwined by a ribbon inscribed with their names 'ALGEM . STATEN HEEMSKERCK AMSTERDAM'. Legend: 'NOCH . ZEE . NOCH . CRUIJCH . NOCH . DOODT . VERSCHRICKTEN . HEEMSKERX . MOEDT . I MRT . 1567 . 25 .
