Reverse: A laurel wreath tied with ribbon with date inside. Inscription: '29 JUNII 1817.' Legend: 'AMALIA - VENI VIDI VICI.' MacGregor, a Scottish adventurer, served in the Venezuelan army and led an unsuccessful expedition to Florida.
