Obverse: A double-ended pulling boat, in it a fisherman drawing his nets, in the background a setting sun on a scroll the date '1629-1929' superimposed on sprays of foliage, separated by a legend: 'TOWN OF MARBLEHEAD INCORPORATED 1649'. Reverse: Inscription, '300TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION MARBLEHEAD, MASS. 1929. OFFICIAL SOUVENIR'. On a scroll: '1629 1929'. Fitted with a loop, red, white, blue ribbon, red to the left.
