Obverse: Port-bow view of the Museum of Maritime Science, Tokyo, which is built to resemble a '60,000 ton passenger liner' from ferro-concrete. Reverse: The badge of the Museum Of Maritime Science, consisting of a port broadside view of the building with a rising sun centred round the observation platform at the top of the museum. Inscription is in Japanese (Ship Science Museum). In a Perspex box.
