Plaque commemorating the Olympic Yachting, Kiel, 1936, possibly a boat badge. Obverse: On a black field, a red circle bearing the design of two racing yachts under sail, the five Olympic rings above and five fishes below. Inscription: 'KIEL 1936'. Reverse: Stamped with maker's name, 'M . Hansen, Kiel' (in Gothic script). The item belonged to Christopher Allan Boardman (1903-87), gold medal winner of the 6 metre yacht race at Kiel in 'Lalage'.
