Rectangular shaped ingot. Obverse: Stern view of a Blackwall frigate, sails set. Inscription: 'BLACKWALL FRIGATE'. Reverse: Inscription, 'BLACKWALL FRIGATE Nineteenth Century. The pride of the British merchant fleet for much of the nineteenth century, the Blackwall Frigate carried passengers and cargo to India and Australia. Known as Blackwallers, these vessels competed successfully with steamships for many years and were noted for their speed, comfort and superb construction.'
