Jug

Three fragments (and a bag of glaze fragments) which make up a jug without a lip, modelled as the head of Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney (1719-1792), and hand painted in blue, green, ochre and brown. Rodney is wearing a blue uniform trimmed with ochre and an ochre waistcoat. There is a decorative border above the brows with moulded and painted trophies and scrollwork.
