Obverse: Entwined by a wreath of roses, an oval shield with the arms of Lloyd's. Reverse: A blank scroll, inscription: 'PRESENTED BY LLOYD'S FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICES'. Inscription on edge: '888'. The example given is fitted with a bar and blue ribbon with a white stripe near each edge. This is presumably a pattern.
