Uniface badge. Within a garland of somewhat similar design as preceeding, surmounted by an eagle of larger design (Gilt) a mounted gun, the barrel overlapping garland at a high angle (iron). Reverse: Inscription: "R.S." Instituted June 1941 and was awarded on the basis of points gained for spotting, detecting and shooting down enemy aircraft, eight being the requisite number. Fitted with a pin.
