Badge: Order of the Medjidie: 4th Class

Turkish order. Badge: Obverse: Cut silver star of seven points, between the arms are seven small crescents and stars. In the centre is the sultan's cypher on a gold ground: surrounded by a crimson enamelled band with a Turkish inscription. Inscription on edge: "MR. W. WALKER, CHIEF ENGINEER ON BOARD THE OTTOMAN SS.FEZI BAHRI". Suspended from a red watered silk ribbon (with rosette), with green edges and a silver double pinned suspension bar.
