Mariner's compass.
Bowl: Dia. 7.1" (18.0 cm) Green painted wood, glazed with detachable base. Inside of bowl painted white.
Card: Dia. 5.5" (14.0 cm) White paper with black, gold, red and yellow markings. Graduated to 32 points and quadrantally in degrees. Has emblematic figutes of the Planets: Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Sun and Moon. Decorated E & W points. A brass pivot cap is mounted at the centre.
Needle: Unsighted. Said to have two needles bent in the form of a 'diamond' attached to the underside of the card.
Pivot: Unsighted.
