Sounding machine

Dia. of tube 2.75" (7cm). A propeller is mounted in an open ended tube between cross bars-a worm on the shaft drives two indicating wheels. An iron weight is cast over the lower half of tube with indentations for tallow.
Modification of 1862 patent no. 2280.
