Mark IXA
The sextant has an alloy casing with artificial materials, housing optical equipment, a clockwork averaging mechanism, electrical equipment, and a rubber eyecup. It is contained in a fitted shaped plastic case with a leather carrying-strap. The sextant is in poor condition.
The instrument has a scale measuring from 0° to 80° by 1°, and a vernier measuring to 1 arcminute.
