Sights-Four sight vanes 3.5" (9cm) long. One mounted at each corner of square brass base plate. Two with a vertical slit with a rectangular aperture above. Two with the opposite arrangement.
Compass-Dia. 9.5" (24cm) mounted at centre of instrument. Fitted wih a blued steel flat bar needle which is tapered and has a slightly expanded centre, 8.25" (21cm) long, with a jewelled pivot cap at centre. Graduated to 16 points and quadrantally in degrees.
