Pocket telescope

This achromatic telescope has a mahogany barrel and a single brass draw tube without a mechanical stop. The brass fittings include sliding eyepiece and objective lens covers. The maker's name is inscribed on the sliding piece of the objective lens cover as 'Dollond / London'.
