Achromatic telescope
This achromatic telescope has a tapering mahogany barrel and a single brass draw tube. The fittings are also made of brass and include a sliding eyepiece cover, of which the slide is now missing. The objective lens cap is also missing. The maker’s name is engraved on the draw tube as ‘Owens, / Liverpool’.
