Saucer
Earthenware saucer with an ochre rim, transfer-printed in brown with an overall wave design and two pairs of tritons blowing seashells, their tails entwined. In the centre is a scallop-shaped reserve containing a gun, laurel branches and two inverted foreign ensigns. The Union Flag and a ribbon inscribed 'TRAFALGAR' are placed above the trophies which are flanked by a pyramid and crocodile, representing the Battle of the Nile, and a fortress representing Copenhagen. The saucer has a border of a Greek key pattern, rose, thistle, shamrock, anchors, crossed palm and laurel branches.
