Teapot with lid
A black basalt teapot with a straight conical spout and moulded decoration. On one side, Britannia is seated between two trees with birds in the branches, on the other side is a portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) in a similar setting. Anthemion motifs run around the base and rim. The handle and finial are decorated with moulded leaves.
