Jug
A stoneware jug, colour-glazed in royal blue, green and brown, with a medallion portrait of Admiral of the Fleet Sir David Beatty, 1st Earl Beatty (1871-1936) wearing a uniform cap. The jug is decorated with a moulded laurel wreath and swags. It is inscribed below the lip 'ADMIRAL BEATTY', 'PEACE WITH VICTORY', '1914 1919'. The maker's mark is impressed on the base.
