Vase
A white porcelain miniature vase, printed with a coloured, unofficial ship's badge of 'HMS Neptune' 1909. It shows a half-length figure of Neptune, emerging from the waves, holding a trident and blowing on a conch shell, a naval crown above and a ribbon inscribed 'HMS NEPTUNE' below. The vase has a handle and a gilt rim. 'MODEL OF AN ANCIENT TYG' is inscribed on the base with the maker's name.
